What Is This Scholarship?

It is a money help from Bajaj Finserv for good students of management and technology courses. You apply on the Buddy4Study website. The goal is simple: help students pay their college fees so they can focus on studies.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility)

MBA, PGDM and PGP Students

  • You must be in the first year of a full-time 2-year course.
  • Any specialisation is fine.
  • You need 75% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12.
  • Your parents’ yearly income must be Rs. 15 lakh or less.
  • Your college must be in the Top 25 of NIRF ranking. Top 10 colleges get extra preference.

B.Tech and M.Tech Students

  • You must be in the first year of a full-time course.
  • Your branch must be Computer Science, IT, AI/ML, Data Science or Statistics.
  • You need 75% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12.
  • Your parents’ yearly income must be Rs. 15 lakh or less.
  • Your college must be in the Top 25 of NIRF ranking.
  • You should not have another scholarship for the same course. M.Tech students who get a government stipend can still apply.

Note: Children of Bajaj Finserv or Buddy4Study staff cannot apply.

If your tuition fee is fully free (waived), you can get Rs. 2,50,000 per year for hostel, food and other study costs. M.Tech students who get an AICTE stipend through GATE keep it, and they also get the Rs. 1.5 lakh.

Riya joins a 2-year MBA. Her first-year fee is Rs. 9 lakh. This is more than Rs. 8 lakh, so she can get ₹10 lakh per year. Another student whose fee is Rs. 4 lakh can get Rs. 5 lakh per year.

Will You Get It Again Next Year? (Renewal)

No, it does not renew by itself. To get it again, you must:

  • Stay in your course.
  • Score at least 60% marks.
  • Send your marksheets, fee receipts and proof of admission on time.
  • Have no disciplinary action.
  • Not take another similar scholarship.
  • Send a report on how you used the money.
  • Send regular progress reports of 300 to 400 words.

Renewal also depends on whether the company has funds available.
