The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and La Trobe University Australia has started a joint scholarship schemes for Female PhD scholars. The students who wish to grab the fellowship amount can easily apply online for Shahrukh Khan La Trobe University PhD Scholarship 2022. This scholarship is available only for Indian students who are perusing their PhD program in Australia.
In 2019, This scholarship scheme was started in partnership with the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and La Trobe University for those female students who appearing in PhD programs in Australia and are permanent resident of India. but due to few reasons the scheme was ended. This scholarship scheme was named on Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan.
The application process for Shah Rukh Khan Scholarship 2022 by La Trobe University and IFFM, Australia has started from 18 August 2022. The deadline for online application is 23rd September 2022. So the interested students are advised to hurry up and submit their application forms with correct information before the last date to apply.
La Trobe University PhD Scholarship 2022
The concerned the department has released a fresh notification for this fellowship scheme. As per the released notification, this scheme is only for girl students. Only Indian students who perusing their PhD program in Australia can only apply for this scheme. Also, only the students who have done post graduation within 10 years of the application date are eligible to apply.
Shahrukh Khan Scholarship 2022 Amount
In Australia’s La Trobe University, a scholarship scheme is run in the name of Shahrukh Khan especially for Indian girl students. This scheme was started in 2019, but due to some reasons the scheme was ended. According to the notification, around 800 candidates had applied for it after the closure. In view of this, the scholarship has been reintroduced. The first scholarship was received by Gopika Kottantharail from Thrissur, Kerala. Total 1.7 Crores rupees will be granted to selected candidates. The selected student is provided a scholarship of full fee for PhD research for four years.
